Emily is an Associate and member of Maynard Cooper’s Government Solutions and Litigation practices.
Her government experience includes representing government contractors in connection with bid protest actions (both as protestor and intervenor), claims against the government and defending against qui tam actions. Emily frequently represents contractors in the United States Court of Federal claims and in other state and federal courts throughout the country.
Her litigation practice spans a broad and diverse business sector. She represents commercial landlords throughout the state of Alabama, assisting with tenant defaults, tenants in bankruptcy, and unlawful detainer actions. Emily also assists entities and individuals involved in shareholder disputes. She also represents fiduciaries and other interested parties in contested estate matters.
Emily is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School, and she holds a B.A., summa cum laude, from Lipscomb University.
