Matthew is an Associate in the Intellectual Property & Technology, Corporate and Litigation practices at Maynard Cooper. He assists clients with a variety of intellectual property matters including the licensing, protection, and enforcement of copyrights, patents, trademarks and trade secrets.
Matthew earned his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Immunology. He also completed research in the fields of immunology, translational medicine, molecular biology and analytical chemistry, which serves as the backbone to his understanding of the variety of complex scientific and technical matters required when working on behalf of his clients to protect their intellectual property.
Matthew also has experience working on general corporate matters related to company formation, mergers & acquisitions and equity offerings.
He received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Florida College of Medicine and a B.S. from the University of Florida.
