Brad is a Shareholder in Maynard Cooper's Government Contracts & Bid Protests Practice as well as several practice groups in the firm's Litigation Section.
He represents government contractors in connection with litigation arising out of their contracting activities. Brad frequently represents contractors before the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals, the Government Accountability Office, the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals, the United States Court of Federal Claims and in other state and federal courts across the country. Brad has handled litigation involving all aspects of a contractor’s activities, including bid protests, appeals under the Contract Disputes Act, suspension and debarment proceedings, security clearance hearings, employment (including trade secrets, non-competition/non-solicitation) disputes and other commercial and shareholder litigation.
In conjunction with his litigation activities, Brad serves a number of government contractors by providing strategic advice to address corporate, employment and other issues arising from the contractor’s ownership, governance and/or operations.
Brad also maintains an active probate / estate and tax litigation practice. Brad represents fiduciaries and other interested parties in will contests and contested estate and trust matters. Brad has litigated contested estates and tax controversies across the Southeast.

He is a native of Huntsville and holds a LL.M. in Taxation and a J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. He received his B.A. from Auburn University.
