Maynard Cooper & Gale PC welcomes Chris Wiginton to its Estate Planning and Tax practices.
Chris’ previous work covers a wide spectrum of experience including estate and business planning, corporate and partnership taxation and general corporate matters. He will work in the firm’s office in Huntsville.
Brian, who will work out of the firm’s Huntsville office, has an extensive history working across multiple areas of intellectual property including patents, copyrights, computer software licensing and other intellectual property law areas. Several major corporations look to Brian to manage their patent portfolios and, when necessary, assist in protecting their patent rights both in the United States and around the world.
Maynard Cooper & Gale continues to add to the roster of talented attorneys in its San Francisco office with the addition of Brandon Stroy. Stroy will work in the Intellectual Property Litigation and Technology practices of Maynard Cooper. Stroy received his J.D. from Columbia University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University. He comes to Maynard Cooper from Bingham McCutchen and joins his colleague, Sasha Rao, who started with Maynard Cooper at the end of October.

Key hire bolsters IP Litigation practice as West Coast expansion continues
Maynard Cooper & Gale continues to attract high level talent in its San Francisco office with the addition of attorney Sasha G. Rao, who will join the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation & Technology practices. Rao was recently recognized as a “Top 75 IP Litigator in California” by the Daily Journal and an “IP Star” and one of the “Top 250 Women in IP” by Managing IP magazine.

Bolus has been elected Chairman of the Management Committee of the Southern Law Network, commencing duties at the Southern Law Network’s Fifteenth Annual General Counsel Conference, held last month. Mr. Bolus presided over the conference, which featured John Dean, former Counsel to the President of the United States, who provided an ethics presentation based upon lessons from the Watergate crisis.
