Maynard Cooper’s Ann Watford Todd has been named to the 2019-2020 class of the Alabama Leadership Initiative (ALI). The initiative, which complements the long-running Leadership Alabama program, is comprised of young leaders throughout the state who work with decision makers in Alabama to collaboratively solve challenges that impact the future of the state.
Todd is a member of the firm’s Public Finance Practice Group in Birmingham. Her primary focus is representation as bond counsel of cities, counties, boards of education, universities and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in Alabama. She received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and holds a B.A. from Davidson College (magna cum laude).
ALI is a competitive program that accepts 40-45 participants per year from a variety of different industries, selected by Leadership Alabama board members and previous members of the initiative. During the 2019-2020 session, participants will meet in Montgomery, Birmingham and the Black Belt with the intention of fostering education, connection and personal development within the group.
