Ryan is an Associate in Maynard’s Intellectual Property & Technology and Litigation practice groups.
Ryan advises clients on intellectual property litigation and patent prosecution matters. Additionally, Ryan represents clients in proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in the USPTO. Ryan’s experience spans a wide range of technical areas, and he has recently counseled clients in matters related to software and electronic control systems, wired and wireless communication networks, autonomous vehicles, electromechanical devices, payment processing and e-commerce systems, and biometric sensors.
In addition to patent cases, Ryan’s litigation experience also includes contract, business tort, government contract, and real estate matters. He received his J.D. From Cumberland Law School, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Alabama.
