VETERANS DAY AT MAYNARD COOPER & GALE

VETERANS DAY AT MAYNARD COOPER & GALE

On Veterans Day, Maynard Cooper would like to take a moment to recognize those individuals who have served our country. We are honored to employ 25 Veterans who have served with branches of the United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. These individuals continue to make an impact in the community and at the Firm, and have been instrumental in the success of our firm, from its founding to today. In honor of our veterans, please look over the attached document (here) and make a point to thank these team members for their service to our country.

A Little History

Originally, Veterans Day was called “Armistice Day,” and the date was chosen to commemorate the signing of the armistice with Germany that ended hostilities during World War I. In 1954, Veterans Day received its present name when Congress made the change.
