CHRIS WIGINTON JOINS MAYNARD COOPER
Maynard Cooper & Gale PC welcomes Chris Wiginton to its Estate Planning and Tax practices. Chris’ previous work covers a wide spectrum of experience including estate and business planning, corporate and partnership taxation and general corporate matters. He will work in the firm’s office in Huntsville.
“Chris is a talented and experienced attorney and we’re happy to have him join Maynard Cooper,” said Daniel Wilson, Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Huntsville office. “He has a strong track record of providing the level of high quality service our clients expect.” Chris has worked on a number of transactions for a wide variety of start-up businesses, existing businesses, and family-owned businesses. He has also advised clients on various structuring, financing and corporate governance matters. Chris also regularly assists both start-up and existing non-profit organizations with a variety of issues. His tax practice is primarily devoted to the areas of estate and gift taxation, corporate taxation, partnership taxation, as well as matters related to low-income housing tax credits under Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code. Chris holds a J.D. from the Wake Forest School of Law and received his LL.M. in Taxation from the Georgetown University Law Center.
