Maynard & Gale is pleased to welcome William F. “Bill” Stiers, a D.C. government relations veteran, to the Firm’s government relations practice.

A seasoned lobbyist with over 30 years of experience in Washington, D.C., Bill helps shape public policy, legislation, and regulations. Over the years he has established strong working relationships with decision-makers in the legislative and executive branches of the federal government. Bill's experience on Capitol Hill and with various administrations has benefited clients; both publicly traded and privately held entities with complex regulatory, legislative, and political matters. An expert in process, Bill’s reputation spans multiple industry sectors including national security, international affairs, aerospace, aviation, biotechnology, construction, education, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and transportation.

Over the course of his career, Bill has worked with nearly every federal department and agency, as well as every congressional committee. He has served as the Washington, D.C. managing director and political action committee chair for a southeastern corporate law firm, worked for a political advertising and public relations firm, and managed a political fundraising company. Bill is originally from Alabama, raised in Montgomery, and an alumnus of the University of Alabama.
