Maynard & Gale (Maynard) is pleased to welcome Lori Metrock as a Shareholder in the Firm’s Corporate, Securities & Tax Practice. Ms. Metrock will practice from Maynard’s Birmingham, AL office.

Ms. Metrock has fourteen years of experience dedicated to advising public and private companies in the areas of corporate and securities law and mergers and acquisitions. She handles public and private securities offerings, including initial public offerings and follow-on offerings. She regularly advises public companies with regard to Exchange Act disclosures, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, executive compensation and equity incentive plans. Ms. Metrock’s private company work includes handling private offerings of securities, mergers and acquisitions, and large internal corporate reorganizations. She also has experience representing REITs in mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

Ms. Metrock earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Vanderbilt University. She has been recognized in Mid-South Super Lawyers in the area of Securities & Corporate Finance Law. She spent the first 13 years of her career practicing in Nashville, Tennessee.
