FEDERAL CIRCUIT UPHOLDS SUMMARY JUDGMENT FOR HAWAIIAN TELCOM
On September 26, 2016, the Federal Circuit affirmed a Hawaii federal court ruling that granted summary judgment to Hawaiian Telcom Inc. and Time Warner Cable Inc in a patent infringement case brought by Broadband iTV relating to the delivery of video-on-demand. Sasha Rao, Brandon Stroy, Ali Drury, Ed Bailey and John Neiman of Maynard represented Hawaiian Telcom in the appeal and the lower court proceeding. Hawaiian Telcom Inc. et al., case numbers 16-1082 and 16-1083, in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
