Maynard & Gale is pleased to announce that attorney Lauren DeMoss has been named one of the 2015 Top 40 Under 40 by the Birmingham Business Journal. This award, which recognizes talented up-and-comers on the Birmingham business scene, is one of the most coveted distinctions for young professionals in Birmingham.

Lauren is Shareholder and member of the firm’s Health Care practice and serves as Co-Chair of the Senior Living and Long-Term Carepractice. She assists hospitals, physician groups and other types of health care providers and suppliers nationally with a wide range of health care regulatory matters, including drafting of various services, employment and recruitment agreements. Lauren also counsels entities on compliance with HIPAA privacy and security regulations the Stark law, the Anti-kickback statute and FDA matters.

Lauren serves as a mentor to younger female attorneys at Maynard and is an organizer of the firm’s Women’s Initiative. She is an active supporter of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center and currently serves as President of the Young Supporters Board. She is also a member of the junior board for the Birmingham Zoo. Lauren’s husband, Jordan, was a member of the Birmingham Business Journal 40 under 40 list in 2013.
