Maynard, Cooper & Gale (Maynard) is pleased to announce that Mary Ann Hanke has joined the Firm as an Associate in the Government Solutions Group. Ms. Hanke focuses her practice on representing government contractors in disputes or compliance controversies involving the government or other businesses. Ms. Hanke is this year’s fifth addition to the Government Solutions Group’s robust and growing practice.
“Mary Ann’s first-hand experience in the courtroom and keen understanding of complex federal and state laws enhance our depth and capability to provide comprehensive representation for our clients,” said Andy Watson, Chair of the Government Solutions Group. “Mary Ann’s background in Industrial Engineering and Cybersecurity adds a significant tool to the Group’s growing arsenal.”
Prior to joining Maynard, Ms. Hanke served as a law clerk to the Hon. Mark H. Cohen in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and as a Staff Attorney at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit. She also previously served as a law clerk for the Federal Trade Commission in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ms. Hanke obtained her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law where she served as the Legislation Editor for the GSU Law Review. She received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, and she is currently seeking a Masters of Cybersecurity from Georgia Institute of Technology.
