MAYNARD BANKING AND SECURITIES TEAM ADVISES CLIENT ON BANK ACQUISITION
Birmingham, AL. Maynard’s Banking and Securities team, led by John Dulin, advised National Commerce Corp., parent of National Bank of Commerce (NBC), on its definitive agreement to purchase FirstAtlantic Financial Holdings, the Jacksonville, FL-based parent of FirstAtlantic Bank.
The transaction will create approximately $3.1 billion in combined assets, and this is the second recent acquisition for National Commerce Corp. in the Florida market.
Maynard, along with Keefe Bruyette & Woods, served as legal counsel and advisers to National Commerce Corp. in the transaction. Other members on the Maynard team include Clark Goodwin and Ryan Brooks. FirstAtlantic was advised by FIG Partners and Troutman Sanders.
