Marsden, former Managing Partner of the largest Huntsville, Alabama-based law firm, and Jonathan Mayhall have joined the Firm’s Corporate Securities & Tax Practice Group. Both attorneys will practice from the Firm’s Huntsville office.

Rich Marsden, Shareholder, has a wealth of experience advising clients entering into private equity transactions, assisting in all aspects and phases of negotiating with venture capitalists and optimizing their capital structure. He is also a skilled negotiator, frequently handling mergers and acquisitions both in the private equity as well as the non-private equity sectors. While his corporate expertise encompasses a vast spectrum of industries, he has specific industry knowledge and expertise in the technology and bio-technology sectors. Marsden uses his understanding of intellectual property issues to help clients navigate the various corporate transactions in the technology space. He also advises clients on technology and licensing strategies, along with providing counsel on domestic and international technology licensing contracts and development agreements.

Jonathan Mayhall, Associate attorney, provides clients with extensive corporate and transactional experience spanning a broad range of industries, including aerospace, technology, construction, banking and financial services, real estate, software and app development, brewing and entertainment, manufacturing, and government contracting. He works with all types of business clients, including large corporations, start-ups, and emerging growth companies, to deliver tactical guidance and assistance with legal challenges they encounter in their daily operations.
