Maynard & Gale is pleased to announce the continued expansion of the firm’s Maynard Venture Partners practice with the addition of Jack Cantrell, who joins the firm’s New York office as a senior associate.

Cantrell brings over five years of experience working in New York and advising emerging growth companies, public companies, and private equity and other investment funds on M&A, financing and general corporate transactions, as well as providing post-acquisition management of portfolio companies and general corporate guidance to in-house counsel. His background spans a wide range of industries, including technology, healthcare, life sciences, logistics, insurance, energy, media, entertainment, and aviation.

Cantrell received his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law where he was a recipient of the Glynn Family Scholarship, he received his MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, and he received his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University. He currently serves on the advisory board of Rivanna Investments, a student-run investing club that manages funds for the University of Virginia School of Law Foundation.
