Maynard Adds New Talent To The Bankruptcy And Restructuring Practice

Birmingham, Al. Maynard & Gale is pleased to announce that Christian A. Pereyda has joined the Firm as Of Counsel in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Group. He will practice out of the Birmingham office.
Christian‘s practice focuses on complex transactional, litigation, and advisory work related to debtor-creditor relationships, including restructurings through Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and out-of-court workouts. He has represented parties in complex litigation arising in bankruptcy proceedings or other federal or state courts, advised lenders on distressed and alternative finance, and advised owners and lenders in connection with restructurings and workouts. Christian also has experience handling matters in the areas of corporate law, real estate, commercial finance, and loan documentation.
Christian is active in the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), including writing for ABI publications and serving on multiple committees focused on asset sales, bankruptcy litigation, business reorganization, and commercial fraud.
Christian received his Bachelor of Arts from Birmingham-Southern College, where he played football for two seasons. He received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2017. While a student at the University of Alabama School of Law, Christian earned his LL.M. in Complex Business Transactions alongside his J.D.
