Maynard & Gale is pleased to welcome James K. “Jim” Pickle to the Firm’s Corporate, Securities and Tax Practice Group. Jim will be practicing as an associate in the Birmingham office.

Prior to joining Maynard, Jim worked in the D.C. office for an international firm with offices in more than 40 countries where he gained experience advising clients from a variety of technology sectors including education, fintech, healthcare, and computer software. He also worked with clients in the government contracting space. His advisory services include business entity formation, corporate governance, and securities law compliance. At Maynard, Jim's practice will continue with an emphasis on corporate and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings and private placements.

Jim is the fourth lawyer to join Maynard’s Corporate, Securities and Tax Practice this summer. The firm is continuing to grow in Alabama and in a number of other markets in the U.S. where its corporate and securities transaction experience can add value and be an attractive alternative to larger market firms.
