Former General Counsel Jonathan K. Sprole has joined Maynard & Gale as Of Counsel. A graduate of Stanford University and the University of Virginia School of Law, Jon Sprole’s extensive career spans 34 years and includes experience having served in general counsel and senior executive roles for national players like GE Capital and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Sprole was most recently Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Remington Outdoor Company, Inc., a leading global manufacturer of firearms, ammunition, and related products. His corporate background also includes a stint as General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer for Versa Capital Management, Inc., Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, General Counsel and Managing Director for GE Equity/GE Capital Corporation, and Associate General Counsel for GE Investment Corporation.

As a member of Maynard’s Corporate Practice, Sprole will utilize his well-honed skills to advise clients in business management, strategic planning, legal and regulatory compliance matters, as well as other critical areas of business operation.
