Stiles is a Shareholder in Maynard’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation and Labor & Employment practice groups. He represents employers in all aspects of the employment relationship, including employee benefits, executive compensation, trade secrets, and restrictive covenants, Service Contract Act and federal contract employer compliance, labor and union relations, employment litigation, and professional employer organizations and staffing industry law. He also has extensive experience counseling employers involved in federal and state agency investigations.

Stiles has been distinguished as a leading labor and employment lawyer since 2008 by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, and he is consistently recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers, in which he has been included among the Top 50 Lawyers in Alabama since 2014.

Stiles is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama School of Law, where he also earned his J.D. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of the South.
