Maynard & Gale is pleased to announce the addition of Ryan D. Thompson to the Firm’s Birmingham office. Ryan has joined Maynard’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice as an Associate, bringing with him nearly five years of experience as an attorney at a regional firm with a practice focused on financial services, bankruptcy proceedings, and litigation. The Firm’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring group is a team of highly skilled attorneys representing and advising creditors, debtors, committees and other stakeholders in all aspects of complex bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, restructurings, litigation and workouts throughout Alabama, as well as in Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, New York, Tennessee, and other national venues.

Ryan earned his B.A., cum laude, at Samford University and his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. Upon graduation from law school, Ryan clerked for the Honorable Tamara O. Mitchell in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
