MAYNARD ANNOUNCES NEW GOVERNANCE STRUCTURE AS PART OF STRATEGIC GROWTH PLAN

As a result of its continued strategic growth, Maynard & Gale is pleased to announce a new governance structure. Going forward, Maynard will be governed by a Board of Directors led by Greg Curran as its Chairman, and the operations of the firm will be led by Jeff Grantham, as Managing Shareholder, and an Executive Committee consisting of the heads of the firm’s corporate practice and litigation practice and its Chief Operating Officer.
“This new structure positions the firm for continued growth and allows us to promote the strengths of our firm, our practices, and all of our lawyers,” said Curran. “As Managing Shareholder, Jeff will direct the firm’s leadership team in executing our strategic plan and growth initiatives, and he will oversee the management of our various practice groups and client service functions. Jeff’s passion for the firm is a tremendous asset and a great fit for where we are going as a firm,” added Curran. “With Jeff focused on the management of the firm and its practices, I will be able to focus on our corporate practice, client relationships and continued growth initiatives, while assisting Jeff and our leadership team in pursuing our internal and external objectives.”
For the last year, Grantham has functioned as the firm’s Vice-Chair and Chief Strategy Officer. “Greg garners tremendous respect within the firm, among our clients and in the business communities in which we work, and this move will allow him to focus his energy on creating value for the firm” said Grantham. “We make a great team and we will continue to work together to lead the firm on its path of growth and excellence in client service,” added Grantham.
Curran stepped into the role of firm Chairman over a year ago and will continue his leadership with oversite of the newly elected Board. Joining Curran, Grantham and the other members of the Executive Committee on the Board are five elected members including Thomas C. “Tom” Clark III, John David Collins, Matthew W. “Matt” Grill, Mitesh B.
