MAYNARD ATTORNEYS PARTICIPATE IN DIVERSITY WORKSHOPS
Maynard, Cooper & Gale, P.C. is pleased to announce its work with Verna Myers Consulting Group (VMCG), out of Baltimore, on diversity and inclusion within the workplace. VMCG is a nationally recognized expert in diversity issues within law firms, with over 70 law firm clients nationwide. Its principal, Verna Myers, is the author of “Moving Diversity Forward: How To Go From Well-Meaning To Well-Doing,” published by the American Bar Association in 2011. Verna and her colleagues conducted onsite workshops and training at Maynard & Gale's Birmingham office the week of February 11, 2013. Over 150 lawyers in the Firm participated in these training sessions over a 3-day period.
