Which companies do you admire most? That's the question the Birmingham Business Journal recently put to a wide variety of business leaders in the Birmingham metro area to compile their annual Birmingham's Most Admired Companies Awards. Seven key industries – from manufacturing and banking to health care and professional services – were considered. The survey questions were open ended and simply asked which companies local leaders admired – they were not given a list of companies to choose from. MCG topped the list of professional service firms and finds itself among good company with several clients also making the list in their respective categories.
