MAYNARD, P.C. CONGRATULATES JENNIFER MCEWEN AND STARR TURNER ON THEIR ELECTION TO THE 2013 BIRMINGHAM BAR ASSOCIATION’S YOUNG LAWYERS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Jennifer Justice McEwen is an associate in the firm’s Estate and Business Planning and Tax practice groups. Her practice focuses on business planning, estate planning and administration, mergers and acquisitions, and tax planning, with an emphasis on wealth preservation, asset protection and business succession planning to help clients achieve their goals and objectives. She also assists clients with formations, choice of entity issues and ongoing representation of emerging and established businesses. Jennifer received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University before attending The University of Alabama School of Law and New York University where she received her LL.M in Taxation.
Starr Turner is a member of the firm’s general litigation, complex litigation and white collar criminal practice groups. Her litigation practice focuses on representing both plaintiff and defendant businesses in a wide range of contract and commercial disputes. She has represented manufacturers, colleges, banks, healthcare organizations, and other entities in various litigation matters. Starr also aids businesses and individuals in criminal and regulatory investigations. She received her undergraduate degree from Emory University before attending The University of Alabama School of Law. Prior to joining Maynard Starr was a judicial clerk for Judge James E. Graham, Southern District of Georgia.
