MAYNARD, COOPER & GALE, P.C. WELCOMES C. BRADLEY CHERRY, TODD H. COX AND KATHRYN L. DIETRICH TO ITS BIRMINGHAM OFFICE
C. Bradley Cherry joins the Firm as an associate in the Public Finance and Real Estate practice groups. Cherry’s public finance practice includes the representation as bond counsel in Alabama of cities, counties, boards of education, hospitals and health care organizations, non-profit (including 501(c)(3)) organizations, utility systems and other political subdivisions in a variety of tax-exempt transactions. His real estate practice focuses on all aspects of the representation of buyers, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants in all types of real estate matters, including acquisition, development, financing and leasing matters, particularly in the area of multi-family housing. Cherry is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law and Birmingham-Southern College.
Todd H. Cox is an associate in the Firm’s Securities Litigation practice group. He specializes primarily in the defense of brokerage firms and financial institutions against claims asserted by customers in state and federal court and in arbitration proceedings nationwide. Cox is a graduate of Cumberland School of Law and the Georgia Institute of Technology. Before attending law school, Cox was an equity research associate at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, an investment bank in Atlanta. During this time, he held his Series 7 and Series 63 registered representative broker's licenses.
Kathryn L. Dietrich also joins the Firm as an associate in the Securities Litigation practice group. Dietrich specializes primarily in the defense of brokerage firms and financial institutions against claims asserted by customers in state and federal court and in arbitration proceedings nationwide. In addition to her securities work, Dietrich has defended mortgage lenders against claims brought under federal lending statutes and state common law. She has also represented clients in purported class action lawsuits, contractual disputes, and labor and employment matters. Dietrich is a graduate of Cumberland School of Law and Samford University.
