Kara Massey Garstecki assists in all aspects of the representation of buyers, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants in all types of real estate matters, including acquisition, development, financing and leasing matters. Ms. Garstecki aids in the representation of lenders and borrowers in real estate and commercial lending transactions including acquisition and construction lending, permanent loans and refinancings in secured and unsecured transactions. She also assists in the representation of clients in mining and mineral transactions, medical office and commercial office transactions, and hospital and other medical facility transactions. Ms. Garstecki is a member of the Alabama and Tennessee State Bar Associations and the American Bar Association. Ms. Garstecki graduated from the University of Alabama with distinction. She then received her Masters in Tax Accounting also from the University of Alabama. She received her juris doctor from Cumberland School of Law where she was a member of the Executive Board of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and a recipient of the William Thomas McHugh & Lou Gower McHugh Scholarship, the George M. Stewart Banking Award, and the Cumberland School of Law Spirit of Service Award.
