Maynard Welcomes Five New Associates

Maynard & Gale, Alabama’s largest law firm, is pleased to welcome five new associates to the Firm’s Birmingham and Huntsville offices.

Charlie Kelley is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Charlie received his J.D. (cum laude) from The University of Alabama School of Law where he served as Senior Editor of The Alabama Law Review and was a member of the Campbell Moot Court Board. He holds a B.A. (magna cum laude) from Rhodes College.
Molli Masaniai is a member of the Firm’s Securities Litigation Practice Group and the Financial Institutions Litigation and Compliance Practice Group. She earned her J.D. from Cumberland School of Law (summa cum laude), where she served as Research Editor of the Cumberland Law Review. At Cumberland, she was a Merit Scholar, a Judge Abraham Caruthers Legal Research and Writing Fellow, and Scholar of Merit in several courses including, Federal Courts and Pretrial Practice. She holds an M.A. from The University of Alabama (magna cum laude) and a B.A. from Baylor University.
Ashton Standeffer Taylor is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Prior to law school, Ashton worked as a legislative aide to U.S. Senator Richard C. Shelby in Washington, D.C. and served as Regional Political Director in his 2016 re-election campaign. She earned her J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor of the Alabama Law Review and was a member of the John A. Campbell Moot Court Board. She holds a B.A. from The University of Alabama.
Noah West is a member of the Firm’s Corporate, Securities and Tax Practice Group. Noah received his J.D. from Mercer University School of Law (magna cum laude), where he served as an Articles Editor of Mercer Law Review and was a member of the Brainerd Currie Honor Society. He earned his B.S. from The University of Alabama (cum laude).
Caleb Wolanek is a member of the Firm’s Insurance & Financial Services Litigation Practice Group and its Appellate and Post-Verdict Practice Group. Prior to joining the Firm as an Associate, Caleb worked as a law clerk for the Honorable W. Keith Watkins in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama. He also clerked for the Honorable Andrew J. Kleinfeld in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Caleb received his J.D. from Harvard Law School (magna cum laude) and holds a B.A. from Auburn University (summa cum laude). He has authored or co-authored publications in the Montana Law Review, the Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy, the Harvard Journal on Legislation Online, and the Concordia Law Review.
