Maynard’s Drew Kitchen And Kathie Weber Named To Elite 2019 BTI Client Service All-Stars

Maynard & Gale is honored to announce Drew Kitchen, Managing Partner of the San Francisco Office, and Kathie Weber, Shareholder in the Insurance and Financial Services Practice, were named to the elite “Client Service All-Stars” by the BTI Consulting Group Inc. in its 18th Annual BTI Client Service All-Stars report. They are among 335 attorneys identified solely and exclusively by national corporate counsel. This award represents attorneys that have been identified for their superior client focus, unmatched client experience, exceptional legal skills, understanding of client’s business, and innovative thought leadership. According to BTI’s report, general counsel and legal decision makers say these 335 attorneys represent the epitome of client service.
Mr. Kitchen founded the San Francisco Office of Maynard, where he currently serves as its Managing Partner. His practice focuses on the representation of investment sponsors and their portfolio companies. Mr. Kitchen advises clients on a wide range of matters, from M&A, private financings, litigating on behalf of Fortune 500 companies to counseling Grammy-award winning artists, high-net-worth individuals, and pro athletes on their investments. Drew routinely represents financial institutions, and his clients include a Bay Area-based Fortune 500 brokerage company, a Fortune 500 life insurance and annuity company, a Global 500 financial institution, an Atlanta-based Fortune 500 bank, and multiple start-ups, including Bay-area “Unicorns.”
Ms. Weber has served as one of the primary outside counsel for a Fortune 500 insurance and financial services company, litigating and managing their cases (individual cases and class actions) throughout the United States. Representative matters include unearned premium refund class actions, policy-dating litigation, broker disputes, and life insurance claims litigation. She is active in the Firm, currently serving as Chairperson of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee since 2010. Ms. Weber has also been inducted into the Association of Life Insurance Counsel.
