The Client Choice awards, established in 2005, recognize firms and lawyers who stand apart for their excellent client care and quality of service. Nominations can only be made by in-house counsel, and the criteria for recognition focuses on the ability to add real value to clients’ business above and beyond others in the market. The winners are selected following a readership survey of International Law Office and Lexology’s in-house counsel subscribers who rate lawyers and law firms on their quality of legal advice, commercial awareness, industry knowledge, strategic thinking, billing transparency, tailored fee structures, value for money, responsiveness, effective communication, clarity of documentation, sharing of expertise, appropriate staffing, project management, use of technology, loyalty, and ethics.
