MAYNARD'S STEVE STILL RECEIVES THE STILL AMBASSADORIAL AWARD
Maynard & Gale shareholder Stephen W. Still is the first recipient of The Still Ambassadorial Award for his steadfast dedication to the Business Council of Alabama’s investor relations strategy.
BCA president and CEO William J. Canary announced the award at the BCA’s annual board of directors meeting on Dec. 4 at the Harbert Center in Birmingham.
"Steve Still was presented with The Still Ambassadorial Award for his dedication and leadership in helping advance Alabama’s business interests at the state and federal level, and for his service and contribution in building the Business Council of Alabama into the respected organization it is today," Canary said.
Still serves on the BCA board of directors and has played a valuable role in their Next Level Program.
Maynard Managing Shareholder Mark Drew commented, "Steve's commitment to advancing Alabama's business interests and the BCA are well-known, and worthy of recognition. We are all very proud of Steve for receiving this award, and the award being named in his honor."
Still has also contributed significantly by identifying and recruiting new BCA investors, and serving on the BCA and Progress PAC boards of directors with distinction and honor.
"Steve has played a pivotal role in shaping the BCA into the strong and highly respected organization that is recognized nationally by our state Chamber peers, the National Association of Manufacturers, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce," BCA Administrative Vice President for Investor Relations, Elaine J. Fincannon said.
