MAYNARD COOPER SPONSORS “SNUGGLY SOIREE” FOR UCSF BENIOFF CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL SAN FRANCISCO

Maynard Cooper’s San Francisco office is a proud sponsor of the “Snuggly Soiree” – a benefit being staged by the Glogau Teddy Bear Rescue Fund benefiting UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco. The event will be held on March 19, 2015 at the San Francisco home of Ann and Gordon Getty.

“We’re very pleased to be part of such an important fund-raising event that benefits injured and ill children and their families and highlights the great new facilities at UCSF,” said Drew Kitchen, Managing Partner of Maynard Cooper’s San Francisco office.

About the Fund: Dr. Richard Glogau and his wife, Pamela Baj Glogau, established The Glogau Teddy Bear Rescue Fund at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco to provide support for pediatric patients and their families. The fund helps fill special needs, such as food, transportation, housing, medications, special medical equipment, interpreters, tutors, and amenities, that insurance and government funds cannot provide.

About the hospital: After more than 10 years of planning and construction, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco will opened on Feb. 1, 2015 on UC San Francisco’s world-renowned biomedical research campus. The new 183-bed UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco creates an environment where children and their families find quality care at the forefront of scientific discovery. Private rooms in the intensive care nursery support the youngest patients, while the fully accredited classroom and teachers enable school-age patients to continue their education while focusing on their health. The hospital offers accommodations for families of pediatric patients and nearby lodging for those requiring longer stays.
