MAYNARD COOPER WELCOMES BRIAN SATTIZAHN

Maynard Cooper & Gale PC welcomes Brian Sattizahn to its Intellectual Property & Technology practice. Brian, who will work out of the firm’s Huntsville office, has an extensive history working across multiple areas of intellectual property including patents, copyrights, computer software licensing and other intellectual property law areas. Several major corporations look to Brian to manage their patent portfolios and, when necessary, assist in protecting their patent rights both in the United States and around the world.
His prior work experience includes the position of Examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office which serves as the foundation of his intellectual property knowledge. He spent considerable time examining applications relating to software development, computer program compiler technology, electronic commerce, business methods and artificial intelligence. “Brian is another excellent addition to our intellectual property team at Maynard Cooper,” said Huntsville Managing Shareholder Daniel Wilson. “His work as an attorney and in the USPTO combine to give his clients a true insider’s view of how best to approach the nuances of managing, protecting and sometimes asserting their intellectual property rights.” Brian received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
