MAYNARD WELCOMES NINE NEW ASSOCIATES
Maynard & Gale PC welcomes nine new associates to its Birmingham and Huntsville offices as part of the Fall 2014 Class.
Joining the Firm’s Birmingham office:
Thomas W.H. (Tommy) Buck, Jr. joins the Firm’s General Litigation practice and is a graduate of the Emory University School of Law. Buck is a former U.S. Navy officer and also holds a Master in Theological Studies.
Joshua (Josh) Hess joins the Firm’s Insurance and Financial Services Litigation practice and is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law. Hess also holds a M.B.A from the Manderson Graduate School of Business.
Elizabeth A. Hilley joins the Firm’s General Corporate practice and is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. Hilley spent one semester abroad studying comparative international law at St. Anne’s College at the University of Oxford in Oxford, United Kingdom.
Kasdin Miller Mitchell joins the Firm’s Securities Litigation and Appellate & Post-Verdict practices and is a graduate of Yale Law School. Prior to joining Maynard, Kasdin served as a law clerk to Judge William H. Pryor Jr. on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Before her clerkship, she served as the Assistant Solicitor General in the Office of Attorney General of the State of Alabama.
Edward A. O’Neal joins the Firm’s Governmental Affairs practice and is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law. O’Neal was the overall winner of the Campbell Moot Court Competition and also won the award for Best Brief in the competition.
Sumner R. (Rich) Pugh, IV joins the Firm’s Bankruptcy, Workouts and Creditors' Rights practice and is a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law. Pugh served as Notes Editor for the Georgia Law Review and was a student attorney in the Business Law Clinic.
Tiffany P. Rainbolt joins the Firm’s Labor and Employment practice and is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law. Rainbolt spent the last year as a term clerk for Chief Judge Karon O. Bowdre of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
Ann E. Watford joins the Firm’s Public Finance practice and is a graduate of Vanderbilt Law School. Watford was selected to Order of the Coif and served as Notes Development Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review.
Joining the Firm’s Huntsville office:
David R. Beasley joins the Firm’s General Litigation practice and is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Law. Beasley was a member of the Bruce B. Seigal Moot Court Team which won Best Brief, Best Oral Advocates and Overall Winner at the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition, Southeast Region.
