Maynard’s John Bolus, Maibeth Porter, and Thomas W. Thagard III Named To The 2020 BTI Client Service All-Stars

Maynard & Gale is honored to announce Shareholders John Bolus, Maibeth Porter, and Thomas W. John Bolus is a Shareholder and Co-Chair of the Firm’s Financial Institutions, Corporate Governance & Fiduciary Litigation Practice. He has held numerous other positions of leadership in the firm, including serving for many years on the Executive Committee. John has broad experience handling complex civil litigation, including securities class actions and shareholder derivative actions, individual securities arbitrations, individual and class-wide insurance and annuity cases, and a variety of other types of cases. John is recognized as a Leading Practitioner in Litigation by Chambers USA, and was selected as a 2020 "Lawyer of the Year" by The Best Lawyers in America©. He is also consistently recognized by Benchmark Litigation as a "Litigation Star.”
Maibeth Porter is one of the founders of Maynard & Gale and currently serves on the Firm's Board of Directors. Her practice focuses on two areas, Financial Services and Product Liability. Maibeth is recognized as a Leading Practitioner in Litigation by Chambers USA, and was selected as a 2020 "Lawyer of the Year" by The Best Lawyers in America©. She is a former Alabama State Bar - Susan B. Livingston Award recipient.
Tom Thagard is a member of Maynard's Board of Directors and served as Co-Chair of the Firm's Litigation Practice for a number of years. He focuses his practice on complex litigation matters, including class actions, business litigation, financial services litigation, antitrust, intellectual property and trade secrets litigation, Lanham Act litigation, mergers & acquisitions litigation, and scientific research misconduct litigation. Tom is recognized as a Leading Practitioner in Litigation by Chambers USA, and was selected as a 2020 "Lawyer of the Year" by The Best Lawyers in America©. He has been recognized by the Vulcan Park and Museum as a Vulcans Community Awards "Game Changer" Honoree.
