Maynard Represents Global K9 Protection Group in Sale to National Investment Firm

Maynard represented Global K9 Protection Group (“GK9PG”) in its recent sale to Inoa Ventures Management. GK9PG, headquartered in Opelika, Alabama, is a veteran-owned and operated business delivering elite canine screening services that adhere to national and international regulations. Inoa Ventures is a national investment firm that targets investments in companies with experienced management, established track-records, sustainable competitive advantages, and attractive growth opportunities. The firm concentrates its investments in the aviation and transportation logistics, healthcare and technology, and financial technology sectors. Inoa Ventures Management’s acquisition of GK9PS will further GK9PS’s growth and ability to provide turn-key security solutions and reliable, sustainable, and compliant cargo screening solutions to leading ground handlers and carriers.
Maynard’s transaction team was led by Mike Johnson and included attorneys Spencer Newman, Noah West, Chris Smith, Jayna Lamar, Andy Donovan, Wes Brinkley, Andy Watson, and Matthew Russ.
Maynard brings a rare combination of seasoned corporate and government contracting lawyers in deal teams dedicated to buy-side and sell-side Gov Con M&A. These teams provide skillful solutions in the exits of many government contracting companies, successfully closing deals across a broad range of values to major strategics, private equity, and ESOPs.
