Brooke Baird is an Associate in Maynard’s Corporate, Securities & Tax Practice Group. Baird received her J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, she was an editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice and a representative for the Antitrust and Competition Law Society. She holds a B.A. in Economics and Spanish from Wofford College.

Madelyn Beatty is an Associate in Maynard’s Insurance & Financial Services Litigation Group. She received her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. While in law school, she was Acquisitions Editor of the Journal of the Legal Profession, member of the Moot Court Board and a member of Alabama’s Wagner Moot Court Competition team, and a member of the Dorbin Women’s Association. Beatty holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Alabama.

Kate Belyayeva is an Associate in Maynard’s Employee Benefits Group. Belyayeva received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law where she was a copy editor for the Cumberland Law Review, Jere F. White Fellow, member of the Cumberland National Trial Team, and Scholar of Merit in several courses. She holds a B.S. in Public Accounting from Troy University.

Will Brown is an Associate in Maynard’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group. He received his J.D. from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, where he served as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow and associate editor for the Cumberland Law Review. Brown also holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Belhaven University.

Stephanie Lynge joins Maynard as an Associate in the Firm’s Criminal Defense and Investigations Group. She has assisted on compliance and internal investigation cases and federally appointed CJA cases. Prior to joining Maynard, Lynge worked as a program coordinator for the Jefferson County’s District Attorney’s Office. She facilitated collaboration between law enforcement, prosecution, and community agencies regarding sexual assault polices, training and case reviews for the county. Lynge attended Samford University, Cumberland School of Law where she graduated in the top 2% of her class. She holds a Master of Science in Victim Services Management and B.S. in Forensic Chemistry from Sam Houston State University.

Patterson Webb is an Associate in Maynard’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Prior to joining Maynard, Webb served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Stephen C. Wallace of the Tenth Judicial Circuit of Alabama, Criminal Division where she assisted with the mental health court and post-conviction case analyses. She received her J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law. In law school, Webb was an advocate on the Trial Ad Competition team, a research assistant, and a member of the Dorbin Association. She holds a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama.

Reeves Jordan is an Associate in Maynard’s Litigation Section and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation and Appellate and Post-Verdict Practice Groups. Jordan has substantial commercial litigation experience at both the trial and appellate levels. Prior to joining Maynard, Jordan worked at a national law firm in New York City. He served as a law clerk for the Honorable Elizabeth L. Branch of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, as well as for the Honorable Samuel H. Mays of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. He earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a Managing Editor of The University of Chicago Law Review and a Hinton Moot Court finalist. Jordan holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in Philosophy from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.

Kaylee Rose is an Associate in Maynard’s Public Company Advisory Group. Rose received her J.D. from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law. While in law school, she served as Managing Editor of the Cumberland Law Review, Chief Justice of the Henry Upson Moot Court Board, and a member of Cumberland’s ABA National Moot Court Team, where her team reached the quarterfinals of the National Appellate Advocacy Competition. She received CALI Awards in Torts, Professional Responsibilities, Constitutional Law, and American Law Practice and Procedure. Rose holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama.

Kyle Stuart is an Associate in Maynard’s Real Estate and Financial Services Group. Stuart holds a B.S. in Finance from Samford University. While at Samford, he was on the baseball team and received “Most Outstanding Finance Student” in 2019. He received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. Stuart graduated magna cum laude and was an editor for the Alabama Law Review.

Jack Chambers is an Associate in Maynard’s Government Solutions Practice Group. Chambers received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the board of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, Vice President of the Real Estate and Property Organization, and a member of the Business Law Society and International Law Society. He also was awarded a Scholar of Merit award in the law of the European Union. He holds a B.A. in Public Policy Leadership from the University of Mississippi’s Trent Lott Leadership Institute. Most recently, Chambers served as Operations Director for SR Communications, a full-service communications and political consulting firm. In this role, he performed various tasks for U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville’s campaign (AL) and for U.S. Senate candidate Katie Britt’s campaign. He previously served as a campaign staffer for U.S. Representative Drew Ferguson (GA-03), Chief Deputy Whip of the House Republican Conference.

Stewart Thames IV is an Associate in Maynard’s General Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions Practices Groups. Thames received his J.D. from William & Mary Law School. He holds a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and English from Hampden-Sydney College graduating summa cum laude.

Jonathan Jenkins is an Associate in Maynard’s Corporate Securities & Tax Practice with a focus in the areas of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions and corporate matters for business clients. With a joint J.D. degree and Master of Business Administration, Jenkins drafts and reviews partnership agreements, business incorporation documents, and corporate tax documents for a wide range of clients. He also has experience working on large corporate mergers. Jenkins holds a J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Samford University and Cumberland School of Law where he was a Junior Editor on the Cumberland Law Review, a Caruthers Fellow, a Cumberland Student Ambassador, and on the Dean’s List. He earned his B.S. in Political Science from Troy University.

Trent Jones is an Associate in Maynard’s Real Estate & Financial Services Practice group. Jones received a B.S. in Economics from The University of Alabama, Culverhouse College of Commerce. He holds a Masters of Arts in Economics from The University of Alabama Manderson Graduate School of Business. He attended the University of Houston Law Center where he received his J.D. While in law school, Jones was a member of the Houston Law Review, the Student Bar Association and on the Dean’s List.

Lynette Potter is an Associate in Maynard’s Correctional Litigation Group. Potter earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law where she served as an Executive Articles Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal, the External Vice-Chair for the Moot Court Board, and the Mock Trial Co-Chair for the Interprofessional Education Board. She received the Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association Award and authored one academic publication while in law school. Lynette holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Alabama-Huntsville.

Caroline Land is an Associate in Maynard’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group. Land received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law. While in law school, she was an Associate Cases Editor for the Mississippi Law Journal, the Vice President for the Federalist Society, and a Business Law Fellow. She authored an academic publication while in law school. Land holds a B.A. in Public Policy Leadership from the University of Mississippi and is a graduate of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College.

Alexandra “Alex” Fox is an Associate in Maynard’s Trusts, Estates, Fiduciaries, & Family Business Practice Groups. Fox received her J.D. from Florida State University, graduating magna cum laude. While at Florida State, she was the Article Selection Editor for the Florida State University Law Review and wrote for the WVA of Law National Energy and Sustainability Moot Court Competition. She holds a B.S. in Public Relations from the University of Florida.
