Maynard is pleased to congratulate securities shareholder Michel Marcoux for being named to the 2017-2018 Alabama Leadership Initiative. He is among 20 Birmingham-area business leaders selected for this program which is a part of Leadership Alabama. The goal of the initiative is to expose young leaders to decision-makers statewide and give them the opportunity to solve problems the state is facing while meeting in Montgomery, Birmingham, and Huntsville. The program complements the year-long Leadership Alabama program by bringing together emerging leaders across the state for a two-day seminar. However, this year the initiative has been enhanced to a six-month program comprised of three two-day retreats.

“All of us at Leadership Alabama are excited about bringing together emerging leaders from across Alabama," said Executive Director Barbara Larson. "With personal and professional training components alongside exposure to the challenges and opportunities we face as a state, ALI participants will be well equipped to contribute to efforts to move Alabama forward."
