Alison's Profile

Alison is an Associate in Maynard’s Insurance and Financial Services Practice. She defends the interests of businesses and individuals in litigation and has extensive experience advising on matters involving reinsurance and insurance treaties and contracts, both domestically and internationally. Over the course of her career—which spans more than 15 years—Alison has not only handled litigation, but also arbitration. Her clients appreciate that she is both a tenacious advocate and a master negotiator, focused on providing solutions tailored to their situation and goals.

Prior to joining Maynard, Alison worked as Assistant Claims Counsel for a reinsurance company in Stamford, Connecticut. In that role, Alison managed all aspects of litigation and arbitration, from initiating and defending to negotiating with adversaries and overseeing discovery and the selection and preparation of witnesses. Alison's background also includes nearly a decade of private practice with firms in Los Angeles and New York. Each of these positions provided a significant foundation for her litigation skills, as she handled complex commercial litigation, including insurance and reinsurance and insurance coverage matters, as well as product liability and environmental contamination disputes.
