Andrew is an Associate in Maynard’s Correctional Litigation Practice Group where he focuses his practice on representing correctional agencies and vendors in litigation matters throughout the U.S. This team of litigators routinely represent and advise correctional staff, including but not limited to executive-level officials, agencies, officers, medical and mental health, and probation and parole officials.
Prior to joining Maynard, Andrew’s practice was focused on representing Alabama municipalities, businesses, and individuals in cases involving civil rights, breach of contract, personal injury, property damage, and employment law, including employment discrimination.
Before joining the Firm, Andrew served as a law clerk for Judge Karon O. Bowdre of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama. While in law school, Andrew served as a Law Clerk in the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Alabama, where he had the opportunity to research and draft memoranda on various procedural and legal issues regarding both criminal and civil law.
Andrew received his J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law. He holds a B.A. in History from Mississippi State University.
