Caron is an Associate in the Firm’s Public Finance practice. She works with members of the team to assist clients nationwide with a wide range of tax-advantaged finance transactions. She serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, issuer’s counsel, and underwriter’s counsel on bond financings. She also works with clients to manage post-issuance issues, including determinations regarding permitted used of bond proceeds, rebate compliance, and ongoing disclosures.
In addition to her work in the area of bonds, Caron advises clients involved in public-private partnerships (P3s) and development incentives. She helps clients take advantage of other available finance options on deals, including ones eligible for New Markets Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, and the federal Opportunity Zone program.
Caron received her J.D. cum laude from Florida State University College of Law. Among her many accomplishments in law school, she was as a recipient of the Preeminent Scholar Award, an editor on the Florida State University Law Review & Florida State Business Review, served as Vice President of the Black Law Student Association, and earned a Business Law Certificate. She earned her B.A. cum laude from Birmingham-Southern College where she was a member of the National College Senior Honor Society, the Omicron Kappa Delta National Leadership Honor Society, and the Varsity Track & Field team.
