Elizabeth is an Associate in Maynard’s Insurance and Financial Services practice group.
Prior to joining Maynard, Elizabeth worked as a judicial law clerk for The Office of the Chief Immigration Judge in The Department of Justice Executive Office of Immigration Review where she drafted cancellation of removal, withholding of removal, convention against torture, and bond decisions. She also served as a law clerk with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama.
Elizabeth earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Samford University Cumberland School of Law, where she served as associate editor for the Cumberland Law Review and Secretary of the Cumberland Student Health Lawyers Association. She was a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow and Scholar of Merit in several courses. Elizabeth also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance with a specialization in Investment Management from the University of Alabama, The Culverhouse College of Commerce.
In addition to her law practice, Elizabeth is a member of Maynard's Pro Bono Committee in which she coordinates internal programming to contribute pro bono services to individuals and non-profit organizations in need.
