George Hayek is an Associate and a member of Maynard Cooper’s Insurance and Financial Services Practice Group. His practice centers on complex insurance-related litigation. George is also experienced with matters in the energy and technology sectors.
George is a lateral associate from Jackson Walker’s Houston office where he practiced for approximately two years before joining the Firm. He also worked as a federal judicial intern in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas and is fluent in multiple languages, including Arabic, English, and Spanish.
George is a cum laude graduate from the University of Houston Law Center and was a Law Foundation Merit Scholar. While attending law school, George served as an Articles Editor for the Houston Law Review and a Civil Procedure Teaching Assistant. He was also the Champion of the Hippard Novice Mock Trial and the John Black Moot Court tournaments.
