Grace is an Associate in the ERISA & Group Insurance Litigation Practice Group at Maynard Cooper. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including insurance, financial services, and ERISA litigation. She represents insurers, third party administrators, sponsoring employers, plans, and plan administrators in ERISA and non-ERISA benefit claim disputes brought by participants and beneficiaries of life, health, disability, and accidental death and dismemberment plans, as well as pension and retirement plans.
Prior to joining the firm, Grace spent two summers with Maynard Cooper as a summer clerk where she researched and drafted legal memoranda regarding ERISA and insurance litigation matters. Grace also worked as a summer intern to the Honorable Abdul K. Kallon of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama and in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Alabama. Before law school, Grace worked as a Regional Coordinator for Impact Alabama and spent a year teaching English in Spain.
She received her J.D. from Duke University Law School and holds a B.A. magna cum laude from Davidson College.
