Kacey is an attorney in Maynard Cooper’s Litigation Practice Group, with a focus in the areas of environmental litigation and product liability. She has experience defending clients from a broad range of industries in product liability, toxic tort and mass tort litigation. She has substantial involvement in – and understanding of – the complex issues that often arise during the defense of cases involving allegations of asbestos exposure. Kacey has also been engaged in numerous matters requiring the negotiation of complex structured settlements.
Prior to joining Maynard Cooper, Kacey was a litigation associate in Lavin, O’Neil, Cedrone & DiSipio’s New York City office, where she represented Fortune 500 companies in products liability, premises liability, and labor law actions.
Kacey received her J.D. from The University of Alabama School of Law, and she holds a B. A. from The University of Alabama as well.
