Laura Cohen is Of Counsel in Maynard Cooper’s Nashville office, where her practice focuses on business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and corporate governance. Laura has represented clients on company structuring, business succession planning, acquisitions, mergers and sales, and contract negotiation. She brings more than twelve years of experience, having practiced as a corporate transactional lawyer in Boca Raton, Florida prior to relocating to Nashville, Tennessee. Laura also has extensive experience in estate planning and probate and trust administration, which adds a unique perspective to her client service.
A graduate from the University of Florida with a BSBA in Finance, Laura earned her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, and she holds an LL.M. in Taxation from University of Miami School of Law.
