Overview

Mary Caroline is an Associate in Maynard Nexsen’s Litigation section and a member of the Firm’s Insurance and Financial Services Litigation Practice Group. Mary Caroline focuses her practice on defending insurance companies and other financial institutions in a variety of complex litigation matters. She routinely represents life insurance companies in claims, interpleader, sales practice, rescission, and bad faith matters.

Mary Caroline earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as Executive Editor of the Alabama Law Review and was a national quarterfinalist for the ABA National Moot Court Team. She holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Arts from the University of Alabama, where she graduated summa cum laude. While at the University of Alabama, she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and served as a Sustained Dialogue Campus Moderator.
