Stephen is a Shareholder in the Correctional Litigation, General Litigation, Complex Litigation, and Construction practices at Maynard Cooper.
He has experience representing clients in medical malpractice actions, trademark infringement disputes, civil rights litigation, and breach of contract suits in the construction industry.
Prior to joining Maynard Cooper, Stephen completed a two-year clerkship for the Honorable Hugh Lawson in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia. Stephen also worked in private practice and has experience involving claims of wrongful death, premises liability, insurance coverage, negligent construction, conversion, bad faith, and wantonness.
Stephen received his J.D. magna cum laude from Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law with a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research and Drafting. He holds a M.A. from the University of Alabama and a B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Memphis.
