We have assisted numerous clients in the acquisition and leasing of mineral interests and in helping clients resolve disputes related to parties’ interests in, or conflicting rights to, mineral interests. We have also worked with clients as they initiated projects in helping them to both identify and obtain various economic incentives. Given the complexities of regulatory issues in the energy and natural resources business, our clients turn to us for counsel on environmental compliance, mining permits, and related issues that arise in connection with their daily operations.

Clients engaged in the energy and natural resources industry regularly call on us to provide advice and representation with respect to labor and employment matters, including collective bargaining agreements, regulatory investigations, EEOC complaints, as well as black lung litigation. We have orchestrated the condemnation of land throughout Alabama for several large pipeline companies.
