Maynard & Gale is pleased to announce the addition of Steven W. Strother, Jr. to the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Steven joins the Firm’s Birmingham office as an Associate.

A Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Alabama, Steven began his career in 2007 at public accounting firm Deloitte & Touche LLP. During his tenure with Deloitte, Steven served on the audits of several large public companies throughout the Southeast in industries including banking, retail, real estate investment trusts, manufacturing, and hotel & casinos. Upon entering law school, Steven continued his work with Deloitte's audit practice. During his final year of law school, Steven co-edited Real Estate Handbook: Land Laws of Alabama, 9th Edition (with Robert McCurley, Jr.). Prior to joining Maynard, Steven worked for an Alabama-based law firm where his practice included corporate and tax law, real estate law, and trust and estate administration. Steven received his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law and his Certificate in Tax Law from The University of Alabama School of Law. He received his M.B.A. from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and his B.S.B.A. (in Accountancy) from Auburn University.
